Our Ministries

CCOC has a number of relevant, exciting and helpful ministries.  Some of the ministries the church offers are:

Sunday Services

Our Sunday services are a great place to worship, engage in relevant life giving messages and to connect with others.  You will always be welcome at one of our services at 10am and 6pm. At our morning service there is also a primary aged Kids program during school terms.

Stuff for Kids

There are a number of different ways our church ministers to the younger members of the next generation. On Sunday mornings we have an excellent and fun program called "Fuel" where kids learn more about God and helping them make good life choices and instilling life virtues.  "Fuel" runs during school terms.

On Friday afternoons between 4:30pm - 6pm, 'Recitifed Kids' is a fantastic kids club for Years 2-6.  There are plenty of games, both on and off our recreation centre facilities, craft, stories.  There are usually scores of kids there each Friday afternoon during school terms.

We are also involved in scripture teaching in a number of local primary schools.

All of our leaders and helpers are fully approved and trained to ensure the best and safest environemnt for all children.

For Teens

On Friday nights, C'town Youth runs an awesome program for all high school aged youth.  Each week there is plenty of time to play ball sports and cool games, connect with other people, have some food and oppotunities to consider the different way and a different life that Jesus offers everyone. These nights run from 7pm-9:00pm during school terms and cost is $3.

There is plenty of opportunity for teenagers to connect, have fun, chill out and discover more of what is possible with God in their lives. There are mid week groups which are to help teenagers engage with real life issues and allowing God to help support and shape them in this stage of life (See Life Groups page for details of our teen groups).

Life Groups

Life Groups are intentional small group communities within the church.  They are the primary point of pastoral care in the life of the church and provide an ideal environment to get connected with other people and to have our faith and knowledge of God and his word nurtured and developed.  Life Groups ar ethe ebst place to get a sens eof family at church. There are groups of all types, for all ages on different days and times of the week. There is bound to be a group for you! Life Groups are a critical part of church life and a large proportion of our church are regularly connected in a Life Group.

For more information about Life Groups please go to the Life Group page.

Community Connnections

Our church loves our local area and endeavours to connect and help it in ever increasing ways. From running a Community Pantry and garden, giving Christmas hampers, participating in other community events, our church recognises that it has an important and needed place in the community and that it has something to offer the people of the Macarthur region.  (Go to the Community Connections page to find out more information).

Combined Churches of Macarthur

Our church is actively involved in the combined church efforts in the Macarthur region.  We particpate in those combined events and a number of people are involved in various  combined church committees and other activities. This is a critical aspect of the wider ministry of Jesus in the region of which we are a part.
